Sarah Russell of Somerset Co, MD, widow and relict of George Russell dec'd, late of the Somerset Co, MD, who died intestate, out of the great confidence and trust which I repose in my most dear and affectionate mother, Tomasin Lecatt and my wiell beloved brother, John Milby, both of Accomack Co, VA, do hereby put into the hands, power and custody of my siad mother and brother the bodies and estates of my dear children Samuel, John and Jane Russell, allowing my sons aforesaid at the age of 17 years and my daughter at 16 years old to be at full age and free and at their own disposing, and to employ their persons and estates as they shall think fit or convenient for the good of my siad children, in case I should betake myself to another husband, and my said son Samuel to enjoy his halds and appurtenances thereunto belonging at the age aforesaid [Stratton Nottingham, Russell Family from Somerset County, Maryland Records, Somerset Co, MD Liber BWZ-1690-1692, p. 225]

abt 1703 son Salathiel MILBY born at Accomack, VA, died Sep 1736 at Accomack, VA; married Frances SAVAGE abt 1732 at Accomack, VA [5 October 1736: Administration of Salathiel's estate was filed on 5 October 1736 at Accomack Co, VA. It was on this date that the widow Frances Milby was named to settle the estate of Salathiel Milby. No security was shown.

To son Salathiel water mill at head of Occahannock Creek & 100 acres adjacent Should my son John die without heirs then the plantation where my father now lives to go to my son Salathiel, and the water mill & land to my son Garrison. Upon the petition of John Hoffington and his wife Tabitha (who was executor of the will of John Milby, deceased), it was ordered that John Lecatt, Jonathan Garrison and Richard Rogers divide Milby's estate according to the will and report to the next court]
